Fàbera was born in London and is made in Florence.The Precious Revolution:
a new way of making jewelryThe idea came to us in London, a city where ethical consumption is not a niche but a standard.
Working in the fine jewellery industry there, we saw lab-grown diamonds and ethical sourcing growing fast, while traditional jewellery remained largely opaque: little traceability, vague certifications, even vaguer claims. Italy had none of this conversation yet.
In 2021 we came back to start it, and founded Fàbera in our Florence Atelier.
We’re Chiara and Fabio, co-founders of Fàbera Jewelry – an ethical fine jewellery atelier based in Florence, at Manifattura Tabacchi.
Our mission is simple: make the jewellery industry more ethical, transparent and inclusive. Every piece we create uses exclusively IGI certified lab-grown diamonds and 18k Fairmined gold. We are the first atelier in Italy to introduce the combination of IGI, Fairmined and SCS-007 certifications. three independent standards that verify the ethical origin of every material.
Fabio brings over 15 years of experience in fine jewellery, built across Italy and internationally. Every piece is made by hand in our Florence Atelier.
We work with clients across Italy and worldwide and from the first conversation to delivery, you work directly with us.

Fabio works gold using traditional techniques refined over 15 years of experience in fine jewellery across Italy and internationally. No shortcuts, no compromises on quality. Every detail is considered, every piece is made to be worn for a lifetime and passed down.
Full transparency
We only use 18k Fairmined gold and IGI certified lab-grown diamonds and we are the first Atelier in Italy to offer the SCS-007 sustainability certificate. You know exactly what your jewellery is made of, where it comes from, and why it costs what it costs.

Climate action
In our small way we adopt useful measures to combat climate change: Fairmined gold extraction is done in an environmentally controlled way, we encourage the use of one’s own gold and the diamonds we use are produced with renewable energy.
Life on land
By choosing lab-grown diamonds and Fairmined gold and through our Second Life project (which gives new purpose to gold already extracted), we avoid unnecessary mining, protect terrestrial ecosystems and reduce soil degradation and biodiversity loss.
